Handel, Libretto by Cardinal Benedetto Pamphili. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">\u201cDa quel giorno fatale\u201d tells of Chloris who mourns her beloved Thyrsis and goes mad with grief. Because he did not return her love during their lives, she believes he is doomed and she descends to hell to save him. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">Motet by Antonio Vivaldi &#8220;In furore iustissimae irae&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">Oboe Concerto No. 3 HWV 287 by Handel <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">These are some of the works from the program, performed by outstanding musicians including soprano Marijke Groenendaal, oboist Dorota Gorlow, violinists James and Xiangji Hewitt, Elena Gelmi, cello Tomas Kardos, violone Claudia V\u00e9lez and on harpsichord Leonardo Valiante.
